Jazz Festing In Place: An On-Air Festival

Presented by WWOZ the festival celebrates the best of New Orleans music. All shows are from the archive showcasing some of the best performances in the history of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The broadcast will also include interview segments highlighting the music, food, crafts and heritage of New Orleans and Louisiana to give the feeling of a wide-reaching cultural festival.

When: April 23 – April 26, and April 30 to May 3, 2020. Tune in daily 11AM-7PM CDT to hear archival performances.

An Instagram live music festival presented by the Australian music community. The event features (in alphabetical order): The Bamboos, Deborah Conway, Frankie Cosmos (USA), Hermitude, KIAN, Missy Higgins, Ngaiire, Rudely Interrupted, Simona Castricum, Tiny Ruins (NZ), Tired Lion, Vera Blue, Waax and many many more.

When: April 18 and April 19, 2020
Cause: Support Act, Australia’s only not-for-profit organization, to provide relief for musicians and music industry workers facing physical or mental health issues, or financial hardship.

MAGIC GIANT Live from quarantine

This is a 3rd instalment of Magic Giant’s virtual festival series. This weekend’s lineup feature appearances from The Lumineers’ Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites, Shaed,Jason Mraz, Meg Myers, Woody Harrelson, and more.

When: April 19, 2020, 2PM PDT

Room Service Online Music Festival

Three-day music festival presented by Trap Nation and Chill Nation this is an electronic music showcase highlighting some of the most notable current artists. To name just a few: Zeds Dead, What So Not, Lido, Big Gigantic, Autograf, GRiZ, Kasbo, Drezo, Chromeo, Destructo, and more.

When: April 24 – April 26, 2020, startin at 12PM PDT
Cause: 100% of all proceeds go to Feeding America and Sweet Relief, the amount is your choice.

Shambhala Music Festival: 420 Live Streaming Event

Shambhala are joining forces with Westwood Recordings and Your EDM for a one day live streaming event. The lineup includes Defunk (cover image), Stickybuds, A.Skillz, SkiiTour, Skratch Bastid, The Funk Hunters, and Mat the Alien.

When: April 20, 2020, 3PM PDT, pre-show chat and artist hand at 2PM PDT

URGNT Live

URGNT Live team is teaming up with canceled Ontario festivals to continue showcasing local artists during COVID-19. Some of the upcoming live streams include Digging Roots, Okan, Laula Biali, Scratch Bastid, Paul Chin, Alex Cuba, Kobo Town and many more.

The month of weekly Friday concerts will be capped off by a 10-show “festival” on May 8 supported by Music Together, a relief fund created by Celebrate Ontario and the Slaight Foundation offering 150 artists $1000 each to livestream content. Additionally, Music Together chose 15 curators across the province to put forward 10 artists that have been affected by the COVID-19 crisis. URGNT headlines the curator series, presenting the final 10 artists of the 300 supported artists on May 8.
