Making plans for CRSSD Spring San Diego

San Diego’s dance music festival FNGRS CRSSD returns to Waterfront Park for another weekend of festivities on March 2nd and 3rd. The festival features yet another diverse lineup complemented by CRSSD After Dark club events throughout the city.

The festival, the first edition of which came to fruition in 2015, has since become a staple event in San Diego and a great way to kick-start the festival season.

Separated into three distinct stages the festival feels like three separate event spaces with different vibes divided by break areas and food court spaces. The main stage, Ocean View, will be home to the likes of Italian melodic duo Tale Of Us, South Africa’s pride and joy Black Coffee, and the genre-fluid live act WhoMadeWho, eclectic live duo Red Axes, Austrian trip-hop pioneers Kruder & Dorfmeister, producer Sango, and the globally renowned Little Dragon.

The Palms stage, which perhaps was our favourite last year, is a non-stop house music party. This stage is by revered house legend Armand Van Helden and Brazilian house music virtuoso Mochakk who will be proceeded by Astra Club, Mochakk, UK garage artist Sammy Virji, East End Dubs, Toman, and Sofia Kourtesis.

The middle stage, appropriately called City Steps because of its location, once again will bring to the attendees ongoing techno. Here you will find French stalwart TRYM, Richie Hawtin, producer Jeff Mills, Joris Voorn, and a B2B session from Héctor Oaks and Tiga.

The general on-sale begins 1/12 at 12 PM PST via CRSSD’s official website, crssdfest.com. Fans can text “SPRING24” to (855) 912-1457 for presale access. CRSSD is a 21+ festival. In the meantime, give a listen to the official playlist.
