In pictures: Re:SET NYC shines a spotlight on Steve Lacy
In the words of the organizers, “Re:SET was conceived as an artist and fan-friendly alternative to the standard summer concert experience”. The unique take on this musical experience is that 3 cities participate in the event consecutively. For this particular evening, we joined Re:SET in NYC for a fantastic performance by Steve Lacy, an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer.
Born Steve Thomas Lacy-Moya, Steve Lacy, makes music about “breakups, freakouts, and sexuality struggles he’s faced so far” (The Guardian), and that in itself makes him very relatable to a wide range of audiences. This particular performance was a wonderful showcase of his skills as a musician, performer, and style icon.
