FEQ begins tomorrow with 10 days of performances ahead

FEQ, short for Festival d’été de Québec, is a major music festival taking over Québec City center for a total of 10 days jam-packed with performances. Ten days can be a lot but it does offer an opportunity to pick and choose the days and performances that suit your personal interests. And trust us when we say, there is something for everyone across generations, genres, and decades.

Last year Quip team joined FEQ fans for three days of stellar electronic music and hip-hop performances. This year we will do the same but we sure are excited about this lineup beyond our attendance choices. There are five stages, both indoor and out with the main festival ground located in Plaines d’Abraham Park. Late-night events take place in the Armoury, which is an equally cool venue. And throughout the day, Rue Jacques-Parizeau becomes an FEQ playground with multiple vendors and activations spread along the pedestrian road.

Among the heavy hitters, the lineup will feature Billy Talent, Weezer, Imagine Dragons, and Foo Fighters across just the first three days! The rest of the lineup includes big names like Jesse Reyes (July 8), Cypress Hill and Souldia (July 9), BBNO$ and Lil Dirk (July 11), Nervo and Gryffin (July 12), Koffee and Pitbull (July 14), Lana Del Rey and Allan Rayman (July 15). To name just a few artists.

On the up-and-coming talent front make sure to check out Emma Beko and Loviet (July 8), Sudan Archives, Car Dealers, and Modlee (July 12), Bembona, Ana Luisa and Isabella Lovestory (July 14).
