Sziget Festival, taking place on Óbuda Island in Hungary from August 10 to 15th, returns for another addition with 6 full days of programming.
Sziget, however, is not just a music festival, it is an entire pop-up town focusing on culture, art, love, and freedom. The art venues include a circus tent, theatre, and museum, to name just a few. The festival embraces diversity and so thousands of people flock to Budapest from across the globe from Brazil to New Zealand to join this peaceful gathering.
The headliner roster features names such as Rüfüs Du Sol, Kings of Leon, Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris, Tame Impala, and Arctic Monkeys. The full lineup includes a wide range of genres and artists from around the globe, the likes of Tourist and Alison Wonderland will be playing mid-week, Woodkid and MEUTE are taking the stage on Friday, Bad Gyal and Jon Hopkins along with Floating Points will be performing on the weekend, while Princess Nokia and TOKiMONSTA will close out the festival on Monday.
But you know we are also here to see the lesser knowns and find the undiscovered so come back to review coverage for some spotlight on the names in small print.
