LEGS move toward the top of the stack with their new first album, Altitud. The resounding message of the album rings clear, “Embrace the life you’re living, living” in your low-heeled dance clogs. I’ve been turned into a fan. For anyone who likes happy music, this album will be your new secret weapon. Carry it in your pocket and dangle it from your ears. Everything takes on a rosy glow in this tone.

The album makes me feel like I’m training for a marathon and studying for the MCAT, reclaim romantic fantasies and making them come true. I wish there could be statistics drawn for how many goals are achieved upon motivation by this album.

First single, “Top of the World” – feels like the calming effect of the coca leaf chewed upon ascending the mountain en route to the clouds. “You’re set. You’ve got everything you need.” The tune perfectly blends the essential sugar – salt – fat to keep you satiated and the kick of raw vegetable goodness to made your body glow as it rocks among the wildlife…

Collaging disco against Dave Byrne influence, the album find confluence at young & urban. Buy the album and feel like you’re coming home with a new puppy. “Fine line between partying and meditation, that I think good art…” can achieve. This band of brothers (2 pairs of brothers plus friend) has got synergy, first coming together in 2013, catapulted a hit to the stars, landing on an indie-acclaimed soundtrack for the 2014 film, Obvious Child, starring David Cross & Jenny Slate.

The debut album was self-released on March 31, 2015.
