Australian based multi-instrumentalist Darren Hart, aka Harts, comes crashing through the gates with a new track “Twenty Somethin’.” The song is a blend of funk, jazz, hazy psychedelia, and good old fashioned rock n’ roll, particularly noted in the rolling basslines.
”I had a lot of mixed feelings about my identity and the state of the world around me,” the artist shares, so “‘Twenty Somethin‘ is an accumulation of feelings I have heading into the new year, the new decade of the 20s and the final years of my 20s.”
Harts may be an up-and-comer but he is no stranger to the world of music. Back in 2014, he was invited to Paisley Park to play with Prince who took note of Darren’s YouTube channel and a couple of years later, he worked on the 2016 Rio Olympics official song with no one other than Lenny Kravitz and Questlove. His love for music is a family trade, fostered by his father who shared a wealth of artistic influences with Darren while growing up.
Drawing inspiration from an eclectic range of artists and creatives, Harts’ experimental nature and diverse talent prove he is one to watch for 2020.
