Festival D’été de Québec (FEQ) returns for 2022
This is a big year for music. The world is finally opening up for real and major summer festivals are returning in full swing. One of the big ones coming back to Québec City is Festival D’Eté, a 12-day, multi-venue, multi-genre festivity running July 6-17. The festival is anticipating 300,000 attendees from across the world touching down in the city throughout the duration of the event, yours truly will be in attendance.
Founded in 1968, the FEQ is older than Woodstock and Glastonbury and is the longest continuously running music festival in the world. With the main stage situated on the Plains of Abraham, a historic battlefield, the cities’ multiple landmarks serve as unique performance stages.
The lineup has something for everyone from singer/songwriters to electronic masterminds and rap stars. Over the span of 12 days, fans will be able to see performances by $uicideboy$, 2Chains, Babysantana, Alanis Morissette, Garbage, Alexisonfire, Alison Wonderland, Ariane Moffat, Cannons, Charlie XCX, Denzel Curry, Fouki, Freddie Gibs, Geoffroy, Half Moon Run, Koriass, Lil Tecca, Marshmello, Patrick Watson, Paul Jacobs, and many, many more.
