Coming up in Toronto: Wavelength Summer Thing free concert series
Toronto’s Wavelength‘s SummerSeries is set to take place at Trillium Park, Ontario Place from August 18th to 20th inclusive. The festival showcases local, up-and-coming talent and celebrates live music, art, food, drink, and community.
Since its inception in 2000 this artist-run non-profit has been focusing on hosting free and affordable live music showcases shining a spotlight on the lesser knows performers from across the GTA and beyond. Wavelength Summer Thing will showcase a diverse and inclusive lineup of artists curated by Anishinaabe musician/composer Daniel Monkman (of moccasin-gaze band Zoon and JUNO-nominated rock band Ombiigizi) that will encompass hip-hop, R&B, electronic, and indie music in this celebration of togetherness by the waves.
