Richie Hawtin, Durian Brothers and Tom Trago added to EM15 lineup

For a few years now MUTEK Montreal has been a hot spot for fans of electronic music and alternative art (read mind-blowing, shape-shifting, digital installations).

This year MUTEK joins another local festival,  Elektra, in collaboration of an epic week of festivities under a new name – EM15.

The festival will begin on May 27th and run to June 1st across multiple venues in Montreal. The shared agenda features over a 100 of Canadian and international artists. The second wave of artists was announced earlier today and let’s just say, Montreal will not look, or sound the same for those six days.

Richie Hawtin returns with a 3rd season of ENTER, a full body experience that is nearly impossible to describe. The likes of Dutch producer Tom Trago, turn-table trio the Durian Brothers, and Chilean/German techno producer Ricardo Villalobos will be just a few of the artists to also hit the stage.

As usual, Montréal Museum of Contemporary Art will serve as the hub of the festival showcasing some of the biggest digital installations.
