All Day I Dream of Terrific Toronto takes place at the historic Fort York with a phenomenal city backdrop, CN Tower and all, setting the scene behind the stage. The open-air stage is lightly covered with flowing fabrics, stringing together paper lanterns and twinkly lights in the evening. The stage is set in a colourful gazebo, patterned with greenery, with the DJ set close enough to the crowd to shake hands.

The event promises “sun-kissed rhythms and ethereal vibrations,” and for the third year in a row, nature played along to help ADID deliver on that promise. Various sitting areas, rugs, and pillow cushions in the treeshade offer an escape from the heat while those willing to go up a shade will always find a spot in the sun.

The festival tends to bring together a chill crowd of people, ready to vibe alone and collectively. The dreamy festival set up sets a welcoming atmosphere filled with positive vibes, slowly leading the attendees into the twilight party. This year’s lineup brought together another group of Lee Burridge’s talented friends: Roy Rosenfeld, Enamour, and Tommy Raffa.

Brooklyn’s Tommy Raffa opened the celebrations to the trickling in fans playing organic house, playa tech, mixed with deep and funky throwback melodies and a dash of disco.

Enamour took us into the party full swing during his two-hour set. Masterfully transitioning from track to track, Enamour took the attendees on a melodic house journey, sprinkling in a few progressive house beats and an occasional splash of dark techno.

Roy Rosenfeld, on the other hand, chose a less predictable adventure, mixing genres and moods, jumping from disco to late-night techno. Rosenfeld is known for his rule-breaking approach to music, and today Toronto got to experience it firsthand.

As the ring leader, Lee Burridge naturally took the last two-hour spot. Accompanied by his friends and fans on stage, Burridge plays to the audience. Taking things up a notch with both lyrical and melodic tracks, Burridge got most people up on their feet. Once again, playing the perfect twilight set, Lee Burridge left everyone looking forward to (can we call it 15th anniversary edition?) of All Day I Dream next year.
