Canada’s biggest electronic music festival, Digital Dreams, has released the lineup for the 2014 Canada Day weekend.
Last year 60,000 people gathered at The Flats at Ontario Place for 3 solid days of rave and repeat. Ryan Kruger, managing director of Electronic Nation Canada shared his expectations for the upcoming summer yesterday. With an estimate of nearly 80,000 people to attend Digital Dreams this year the party will not just repeat history, it will set a new record.
The first round of artists, in retrospective of last year, features Tiësto,Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Paul Oakenfold, and the Art Department. In addition, 2014 line up brings to Toronto Deep Dish, Luciano, Eric Prydz, Dash Berlin, Fedde le Grand, Nervo, Carnage, Danny Tenaglia, Flux Pavilion, Nicole Moudaber, Victor Calderone, Simon Patterson, Paco Osuna, Noisia, Fleming & Lawrence, TJR, and Bro Safari.
Now here is the interesting bit, the rest of the line up will be released daily through out the month of April using nothing other than Snapchat. Yes, Snapchat. Thousands of snaps will be sent out daily by the Bud Light Digital Dreams account (digidreamsfest) and if you want the news it’s that easy to get it.
Here’s what you missed last year:
