Elements Music & Arts Festival takes over Long Pond

Just a bit under a two-hour drive from NYC (or Philly) is Long Pond (Pennsylvania) and this nature spot is about to be transformed into the site for Elements Music & Arts Festival. Taking place from August 19th to 22nd the event promises 72 hours of car camping, dancing, and countless other acrobatic performances, like aerialists rappelling from a 100-foot grain silo. Elements sometimes refer to themselves as a “field of festival dreams”.

The festival launched in 2013 with a one-day event a the Brooklyn waterfront and by 2017 it has become a 72-hour boutique camping festival in Lakewood, PA. This year promises to be bigger and better, spreading across the locale five times the size and divided into four themed areas: Fire, Earth, Water, and Air.

On this lineup are heavy hitters like Zeds Dead, Dr. Fresch, FISHER, Duke Dumont, Claptone, Kaskade, Rezz, Big Gigantic, Seth Troxler, Nicole Moudaber, Claude Vonstroke, and even some jam bands like STS9.

The 24-hour food court on the grounds will be serving up all organic meals from Pocono Organics while the rest of the space is furnished with a variety of fun games, arts and crafts, and other campsite activities – much like a summer camp. Naturally, there will also be some yoga and meditation workshops.
