Over the last handful of years, many summer days have been spent on Electric Island. It has become a city staple, a place where people gather to dance, socialize, and listen to music. Every long weekend, hoards of people board the Toronto ferry wearing short shirts, tank tops, facial paint and whatever other trendy EDM accessory might be in season for the summer. Each afternoon the gates will open at 2 pm and feature a lineup of electronic artists from across the globe on two stages, a new addition as of 2018.

May 19 Season opener features global electronic music master Dubfire, German multifaceted dance music duo Âmé (Kristian Beyer & Frank Wiedemann), Brooklyn-based production and DJ partnership Bedouin, and Detroit’s “First Lady of Wax” DJ Minx on the Main Stage. On the second stage will be a Rawthentic label showcase of Toronto natives including DJ / Producer Carlo Lio, electronic multi-genre DJ Nathan Barato, as well as Chicago’s DJ Sneak with his old school-inspired tunes, Chicago legend DJ Deeon, and Puerto Rico-born Caleb Calloway.

June 22 will bring out on stage the likes of Seth Troxler, a man of many talents but most known for being an underground electronic music icon from Detroit to Ibiza; DJ Harvey or as Rolling Stones called him “the Keith Richards of dance music” as well as the musical entrepreneur and rave DJ Blond:ish. Tom Trago will also return to the Electric Island stage, followed by San Francisco’s DJ crew Honey SoundsystemTom StephanGoddollars, and Pony.

Note that due to flooding on the island this weekend’s event has moved to Woodbine Park, 1695 Queen Street East.

August 10 artists breakdown and August 31 + September 1 Season finale schedules are yet to be announced. The full roster of artists this season, however, will also showcase Swiss duo Adriatique, Anja Schneider, Azari, Claude Vonstroke, Chris Leibing, a DJ set by George Fitzgerald, Lee Foss, Nitin and many more.

You can purchase single tickets or a full season pass if your dance commitment allows here.
